The Waves is handily located for all of Scarborough’s attractions. We are just 15 minutes walk (or less) from the town centre, railway station, Stephen Joseph Theatre, South Bay beach, Italian gardens and Spa complex.
The property has been beautifully restored and retains many original features. All our 7 rooms are individually designed and decorated to a high standard.

Dan and Daniela originally hail from Romania but have lived and worked all over the world. They began their professional journey by running a cleaning business on the Isle of Man where they built a reputation for exceptional standards and attention to detail. They then went on to work in the private residences of ultra high net worth families maintaining beautiful heritage properties and grounds. One of the most special places they worked was the former weekend residence of King Edward VII and Wallis Simpson, just outside of Paris.
They are excited to start their new role at The Waves and be back in Yorkshire having previously lived and worked in Malton.
In his spare time Dan enjoys running and Daniela enjoys cycling. Together they love to travel and their favourite place to visit is Thailand. The have a passion for cooking and enjoy trying new cuisines
